Calcium fluoride micro cells for synchrotron radiation circular dichroism spectroscopy.Wien F, Wallace BA Department of Crystallography, Birkbeck College, University of London, London, UK. De-mountable calcium fluoride micro cells have been developed for use in synchrotron radiation circular dichroism (SRCD) spectroscopy. They have the advantages that they require only very small sample volumes (as low as 1 microliter) and have short path lengths (as small as 2 micrometers). Highly reproducible spectra can be obtained in consecutive loadings with these spacer-free, fixed path length cells, which enable low wavelength data collection. Published 3 October 2005 in Appl Spectrosc, 59(9): 1109-13.
